I know it is Thanksgiving Eve and many are wrapped up in the traditions of the season and whatever the holiday represents to them. How and if you observe Thanksgiving is your business; I just want to encourage you to remember to give God thanks for the gift you are. No this is not some hokey, cheerleader pump you up positivity message. Rather, this is a heartfelt plea in the spirit of God for you to not lose yourself in the busyness of the season. A good meal, time with loved ones and presents are great but you were created with a divine purpose. There are people assigned to you and you alone that are waiting to eat from the table of your anointing. There is a destiny that God has gifted you for that has nothing to do with you. Even your storms, journeys and their conclusions are divinely crafted as a testimony to God’s goodness. Your setbacks are setups for divine favor and an infectious overflow of the anointing of God!
There is something exquisite and beautiful about the unique gift you are. Your value CANNOT be found under a tree, in a gift box nor can it be decorated with a bow. So it’s your thing, do what you wanna do but don’t like the things you do outshine you. So before you pull up a chair and pile your plate, first look up to heaven and take the time to acknowledge the list of things in your life that demand you give God thanks.
